Congratulations should go to the brave ladies who combatted the heat of London last Sunday & performed well in the Marathon.
Jackie, Jane , Nyree & Mel have put in lots of hard work in training over the Winter. All came home safely and all can be proud of their achievements in what was considered by many to be the hardest of all the London Marathons as regards the running conditions. All will have their own tales to tell of hardships overcome before & during the race !!! -- most of us can only try to imagine what it is like running a race with over 36,000 competitors.
See attached a picture of two very tired girls -- when you see them , ask them about their encounter with Indiana Jones & his boulder !!!
